Break-dance workshop

Join in this high-energy workshop and learn some of the moves that have been featured in so many music videos. Locking and popping to back-spins and six step – you'll be amazed at the skills you can pick up in just a few hours!

This workshop contains "demonstration" from professional break-dancers as well as a great deal of practical hands on participation. A thorough warm up through fun activities kicks things off before a variety of break-dance moves are taught and incorporated into a full routine. A highlight of this workshop is "The Circle" when participants create a ring and take it in turns to go into the centre and "bust a move". This is the chance to impress your friends and impress yourself as you show off your new skills. With great tunes and gravity-defying moves, this workshop is an intensely fun day.

They connect with their groups in a way that invites inclusion and leaves the group with new moves, new confidence and new skills.
