Unicycling workshop
If it looks good on a BMX it looks even more impressive on one wheel! Top Dog's Unicycling workshop is the only of its kind in the country and gives you the opportunity to not only pick up an impressive party trick but to learn how to take this unlikely machine onto the streets and go extreme.
Our tutors include the current British Street Unicycling Champion. They have been riding unicycles for over six years and are the undisputed experts in this country. They helped write the current rules for street unicycling competitions, used at last year's World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark and at other worldwide competitions. They have been demo-ing with high profile demo teams across the country for the past year. Combined with their background in gym instruction, they can break down the learning process into easy-to-learn steps and have great one-to-one teaching points.
For absolute beginners, the first step will be learning how to distribute your weight, control your balance and how to step off the unicycle safely. Participants will be split into groups of two, taking turns to ride the unicycle whilst their partner helps support them. For those who can already ride, simple tricks can be taught like hopping, 180 twists and spins.
